The president of the Creation Museum says its message -- that God created the universe and Adam and Eve less than 10,000 years ago -- has aroused opposition that requires security.
Ken Ham says the museum near Cincinnati has hidden cameras, uniformed and plain-clothes officers and dogs that can sniff out explosives and sense dangerous visitors.
He says the museum's security team also monitors threatening email and anti-Creationist Web sites -- steps he considers prudent in a time of terrorism, militant atheism and church shootings.
While skeptics are welcome, Ham says there have been a few arrests and incidents of vandalism at the Creation Museum, which has attracted 330,000 visitors since it opened last May.
